This role is the equivalent level to a Care Manager. The Clinical Leader focuses more specifically on clinical leadership (e.g. managing and upholding clinical standards, overseeing ACFI, etc).

This management position is an opportunity to champion the residents and staff rights within an ethical, non- bureaucratic organisation. We want an Aged Care Manager who is a leader and wants to empower and nurture their team; This could include allocating staff resources, initiating performance management processes, identifying lea
ing and development needs, and resolving staff issues. Whilst supporting the General Manager to plan services for the home, meet financial & budget goals (Aged Care Funding Instrument, ACFI, processes) evaluating resource usage.

Based in the Penrith region this large Aged Care home (High, low, respite & dementia with single and twin rooms), offering a combination of indoor and outdoor amenities. Community focused, with an ‚open door’ policy and facilities (kitchen, BBQ, large private entertainment rooms) for friends and families. Close to public transport with on site parking for staff. Excellent leisure and Lifestyle program (Person Centered Care)

Qualifications Required

– A passion and drive to make a difference in Aged Care.
– Registered Nurse, more than 5 years postgraduate experience and at least 3 of which in Residential Aged Care.
– Current AHPRA Registration and Police checks.
– Good organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills.
– Knowledge of the Accreditation Standards and Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
