Engagement Officer

Our client operates a unique business model unseen in the Australian marketplace. Through their affiliation with a key national RTO, the organisation trains, mentors & develops students to ensure they reach their maximum potential.

We are seeking an experienced, professional receptionist/engagement officer with the following attributes:

– Solid outbound/inbound Call Centre or reception experience
– Expert influencing & sales skills
– Engaging telephone manner
– Reliable and punctual
– Proven intermediate/advanced computer skills in the Microsoft suite.
– Excellent communication skills
– High attention to detail
– Ability to manage time effectively

Your confident and friendly personality will compliment your ability to relate to different types of people. Ideally; you will have experience working within the Education sector and hold tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field. Duties and responsibilities’ will include:

– Greet all visitors, contractors and students in a polite professional manner ensuring all have signed in and completed required documents.
– Inbound & Outbound calls explaining program benefits and booking all students for interview with a Careers Advisor
– Monitoring workshop booking allocations and communicating availability to Careers Advisors
– Preparing minutes of weekly state meetings for distribution.
– Assisting with administration and data entry as required.
– Electronic filing of all attendance/interview records. Sending email & sms interview confirmation details to all booked students and chasing up „no shows” to re book for interview.
– Transfer calls/take incoming messages/deliver messages in a timely and accurate manner to Sales Executives/Trainers/Administration etc.
– Answer all email and phone queries from students in conjunction with the authority given.
– Process course registrations and monitor student numbers and locations in partnership with Career Advisors, and management.
– Ensure room facilities are neat, tidy, prepared and ready for use.

The position is a 38 hour per week – on a casual basis
