A great opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer with a couple of years industry experience to join experienced engineers in providing advice from the feasibility stage of a design and undertake detailed calculations and construction drawings for projects of all sizes in the Eastern Counties. They have also been commissioned to undertake individual element design for foundations, floors, walls, beams, columns and roofs and report on our investigations into damaged buildings.

Our client is currently looking to recruit an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Technician for their busy Service Department.

Main purpose:

To undertake all vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis and defect rectification in line with manufacturers recommendations.

Main Activities:

*Service vehicles in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and times.
*Undertake routine maintenance of vehicles in line with manufacturers recommendations
*Identify potential defects and worn components and report responsibly for customer authorisation.
*Complete all associated paperwork accurately.
*Work responsibly with Health and Safety in mind
*Adhere to all codes of practise, systems of work, and processes.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a proactive individual to work within the IT Service Transition team. This individual will be accountable for coordinating and facilitating transition of change into Support Teams and to the end users.

This is a hands on role where the successful applicant will be embedded into delivery teams taking ownership for the completion of transition activities.

Key Responsibilities

l Take accountability for completion of transition activities within your allocated delivery team
l Identify transition and release tasks that need to be completed, developing user stories and acceptance criteria with the Business Analyst and the SCRUM team to ensure releases can be supported and maintained.
l Delivery of transition tasks assigned to you and coordination of transition tasks assigned to other resources within the delivery team.
l Complete weekly transition status reporting for your allocated delivery stream
l Perform an active role in PI Planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives to ensure that all transition tasks are planned and delivered
l Ensure the go live experience is positive with minimal impact to customers
l Ensure support teams have all the resource, support contracts, training, documentation and access required to support releases. You will be responsible for completion of these activities.
l Ensure planned changes are listed in the forward schedule of change and adhere to the Change Management Process
l Work with the Service Architect to define or update support models as required
l Request required environments
l Review deliverables (e.g. Solution Design, Test Plans etc) to ensure operational needs have been considered
l Ensure that any production risks are identified and effectively managed
l Ensure that an Early Life Support (ELS) period is agreed, track the status of ELS, provide regular reports and coordinate the closure of the ELS period.
l Act as a central point of contact for SCRUM teams and Service Operations with regards service transition.
l Work closely with 3rd party suppliers to ensure they are aligning with the service transition requirements.
l Review 3rd party support agreements to ensure they align to the requirements of service operations
l Work closely with the test function to ensure testing effectively demonstrates the operability of the service
l Provide input into the regular review of the transition process
